What a VIP or loyalty scheme actually promises
Strip away the branding and a loyalty scheme is a rebate on your own turnover. You wager, the operator records it, and a small percentage comes back to you as points, cashback or a bonus. The size of that percentage, and the conditions attached to it, are the whole story.
The pitch usually comes in two layers. The first is automatic: register, and you are in a points program. The second is invitation-only: a named VIP tier with a personal account manager, faster withdrawals and hospitality invitations. At FB88, qualified players are invited by the VIP Support Team after meeting criteria based on consistent or high-stakes play4. You cannot simply ask to join that layer.
What the VIP layer adds at FB88 is a list of concrete benefits:
- a VIP Welcome Bonus
- increased deposit limits
- VIP promotions
- a Weekly Appreciation Reward
- invitations to hospitality events
- additional VIP bonus offers
- a Personal Account Manager
- VIP High Stake tables
- an exclusive VIP support team
- a birthday gift
- faster withdrawal times
- VIP membership for life4
There is no fee to join or to stay in it4.
PinoCasino runs the same two-layer structure but makes the tiers public. Its program needs no registration at all and is fully automatic, and VIP status never resets, so benefits are kept permanently6. That permanence is unusual and worth noting, because most schemes demote you if you stop playing.
The practical question to ask of any scheme is not "what is the top tier" but "what do I have to wager to reach it, and what do I actually get back". The rest of this page works through those two numbers.
Points, rebates and rakeback: the three main reward types
Almost every scheme you will meet is built from three components, and they behave differently.

Points. You earn a set number of points per unit wagered, and points are later exchanged for something. At FB88, every minimum of USD 50 (or the equivalent in another currency) wagered in Sportsbook, Live Casinos, Slots or Lottery qualifies for 1 point2. At PinoCasino, you earn 1 CP for every EUR 30 wagered on slots6. Points are the slowest and most conditional reward, because they expire and because redemption is a separate step.
Cashback. A percentage of your losses, or occasionally of your turnover, returned to you. PinoCasino pays cashback daily on losses over each 24-hour period, at rates that rise with your tier: 12% at Bronze, 14% at Silver, 16% at Gold and 18% at Platinum6. Cashback is the most straightforward reward because it is money, not a token.
Rakeback. A return of the commission taken by the house, most commonly seen in poker. It is a separate structure from casino loyalty and is covered in the poker lane rather than here.
Bitcasino splits its rewards into three types: free spins, free chip and cash bonus7. That is a useful reminder that "reward" does not always mean cash. A free spin has a value only if you would have played that game anyway, and a free chip usually carries wagering conditions before it becomes withdrawable.
Earning rates: how wagers turn into points
The earning rate is the number that decides whether a scheme is worth your attention. Two operators, two very different rates.
FB88: USD 50 wagered equals 1 point, across Sportsbook, Live Casinos, Slots and Lottery2. The rate is the same regardless of which of those products you play, which is generous to sports bettors and less so to slot players, since slots usually carry a higher house edge per unit wagered.
PinoCasino: 1 CP per EUR 30 wagered on slots6. Table games and live casino contribute at a lower rate6. That tiering is standard practice. If you play blackjack or baccarat, expect to earn points more slowly than a slot player staking the same amount.
FB88 assigns your VIP level based on your daily accumulated stake amount, and the assignment is automatic5. So your tier is not a fixed status you choose; it moves with how much you actually wager day to day.
PinoCasino's tiers are defined by cumulative points: Bronze at 3,600 CP, Silver at 8,000 CP, Gold at 15,000 CP, Platinum at 27,500 CP and Diamond at 75,000 CP6. At 1 CP per EUR 30 on slots, Diamond is a long road, and the cashback difference between Bronze and Platinum is six percentage points.
One rule applies across schemes: only bets placed with real money count toward wagering requirements and level upgrades. Free bets, bonus credit, spins, cash rewards and tangible rewards do not count for level upgrades or downgrades5. If you are playing on bonus funds, you are not climbing.
FB88 Rewards Club: earning, expiry and redemption terms
FB88's Rewards Club is the clearest example of a points scheme with real conditions attached, so it is worth walking through in order.
Joining. Completing the registration process immediately qualifies you for the Reward Program. There is no separate sign-up3. All accounts are immediately qualified upon completion of registration2.
Earning. Every minimum of USD 50 (or equivalent) wagered in Sportsbook, Live Casinos, Slots or Lottery qualifies for 1 point2. Points are credited between 5 and 7 working days from the date the qualifying wager was made, to allow the transaction to be verified2. That delay matters: you cannot wager, earn and redeem in the same session.
Expiry. Points do not last forever, and the window depends on your tier. VIP Beginner points are valid for 45 days, VIP Professional for 60 days, and VIP Master for 90 days3. All points that exceed their expiration point can no longer be retrieved2. If you are a casual player, assume 45 days and plan redemptions accordingly.
Redeeming. Points can be exchanged in the Rewards tab, where you activate benefits such as deposit bonuses, free spins and other treats1. The redemption options include Free Plays, Bonuses and useful merchandise3.
Support. For rewards account issues, FB88 directs players to rewards@gmail.com1.
Two further conditions are worth knowing before you commit. Offers are limited to one per person, household, home address, email address, phone number, payment account number and shared computer such as a public library or workplace5. And VIP program rewards and benefits are not transferable between players and accounts; only the named account holder is eligible5.
Cashback and rebate caps: the slot rebate example
Cashback sounds simple until you read the cap. Casino Plus runs a cash rebate on eligible slot gameplay, with a daily cap of up to ₱100,0004. The rebate resets daily and is available on both mobile and desktop4.

The structure is as follows:
| Feature | Detail |
|---|---|
| Rebate rate | 1.50% on eligible slot gameplay4 |
| Eligible games | 100+ slot titles, including Super Ace, Bathala Game, Super Ace Deluxe, Wild Bounty Showdown4 |
| Daily cap | Up to ₱100,0004 |
| Reset schedule | Daily4 |
| Platform access | Mobile and desktop4 |
| Event start date | June 4, 20264 |
The rebate also carries a tiered return bonus based on betting amount, paid in Lucky Coins: ₱1 at ₱100 wagered, ₱3 at ₱200, ₱7 at ₱500, ₱15 at ₱1,000, ₱30 at ₱2,000, ₱75 at ₱5,000, ₱150 at ₱10,000, ₱750 at ₱50,000, ₱1,500 at ₱100,000, ₱7,500 at ₱500,000, ₱15,000 at ₱1,000,000 and ₱75,000 at ₱5,000,0004. Each player may only receive one return bonus tier4.
That last line is the one people miss. You do not stack the tiers; you sit in one. And the daily cap of ₱100,000 means a very large player hits a ceiling rather than earning proportionally.
PinoCasino's cashback works differently, as a percentage of losses rather than turnover. The loss bands are EUR 30 to EUR 5,000+ for 10% to 20% cashback with no VIP status, EUR 30 to EUR 3,000+ for 16% to 20% at Gold, and EUR 30 to EUR 1,500+ for 18% to 20% at Platinum6. The maximum cashback is up to EUR 1,500 per day6. Note the shape of it: higher tiers reach their top percentage at a lower loss level, which is the real benefit of climbing.
How a shared prize pool is divided
Some schemes pool rewards rather than paying them individually. The mechanics vary, but the principle is the same as any shared pool: a total is set aside, and it is divided among qualifying players according to a published formula.
The clearest published example of proportional division in the sources is the 4D System Entry, where prize money is proportionately divided by the number of permutations8. That is the same arithmetic a shared prize pool uses. If a pool is shared among 1,000 qualifying players and you hold 10 qualifying entries, you receive a tenth of the pool, not a fixed amount.
The practical consequence is that a pooled reward is not a promise of a specific sum. Your share depends on how many other players qualify in the same period. If the pool is described as a monthly figure, treat it as a maximum shared among everyone, not as something you will receive.
Excluded bets and games that earn nothing
This is where most players lose rewards without realizing it. The exclusions are written into the terms, and they are enforced automatically.
Tied and canceled bets earn nothing. At FB88, there are no points awarded for any tie or canceled bets2. A voided bet is not a wager for rewards purposes, even though your stake is returned.
Bonus credit does not count. Only bets placed with real money games count toward wagering requirements. Free bets, bonus credit, spins, cash rewards and tangible rewards do not count for level upgrades or downgrades5.
Restricted games can void a bonus entirely. On no-deposit bonus terms, any bet, even a single spin, on a restricted game will void the bonus and cancel any winnings9. If you are playing through a bonus, check the restricted list before you spin anything.
Some games are effectively excluded by design. In one game's published rules, points awarded are described as almost none10. Games with very low house edge or very high hit frequency are often excluded or heavily weighted down, because otherwise they would be a cheap route to rewards.
Low-risk betting strategies can cost you the bonus. Players deemed to be using minimum-risk betting strategies to redeem bonuses or cash rewards may have bonuses, cash rewards and any subsequent bonuses removed5. Matched betting and near-zero-risk coverage fall into this category.
Pending, rejected and expired redemptions
Redemption is a process, not an instant swap, and each stage has its own rules.

Pending. At FB88, points are immediately deducted from the available balance when a redemption is pending3. The pending period is within 2 to 3 working days3. So your points disappear from view before the reward arrives, which alarms people who have not read the terms.
Rejected. If a redemption is rejected, your points are credited back to your account3. You do not lose them, but you do lose the time.
Expired. All points that exceed their expiration point can no longer be retrieved2. This is the one outcome that is genuinely final. With 45-day expiry at the lowest tier, a rejected redemption that takes a week to resolve eats a meaningful slice of your window.
Withdrawing early forfeits bonuses. Customers who withdraw or transfer funds before meeting wagering requirements forfeit the bonus and all funds in their bonus balance5. If you have an active bonus, withdrawing your deposit can take the bonus with it.
Abuse has consequences. Players who abuse the administrative fast-track bonus are moved back to their original level, and irregular play intended to increase accumulation causes the player to drop to the lowest level5. VIP players who completely fail to meet requirements after 30 days are removed from the VIP list or scaled down to the preceding level4.
Stacking rules: can you combine loyalty with other bonuses
The short answer at FB88 is yes. Players can still earn reward points even if they are signed up on Rebate or Reload Programs3. That is more permissive than many operators, where joining a rebate scheme removes you from the points scheme.
But stacking has limits worth understanding.
Earning and upgrading are different things. You can earn points while on a rebate program, but only real-money bets count toward level upgrades5. So a rebate program does not accelerate your tier progress.
Bonus funds do not earn. Free bets, bonus credit, spins and cash rewards do not count for level upgrades or downgrades5. If your bankroll is mostly bonus, your tier will not move.
Wagering requirements can be steep on the bonus side. One operator's sign-up bonus carries a 350x wagering requirement on table games and their live variants11. A loyalty scheme with no wagering requirement is often better value than a large bonus with a heavy one.
One account, one set of offers. Offers are limited to one per person, household, home address, email address, phone number, payment account number and shared computer5. Running a second account to double up on loyalty rewards is the fastest route to having both closed.
Rewards are not transferable. VIP program rewards and benefits cannot be transferred between players and accounts; only the named account holder is eligible5.
If you want to compare how different operators structure their terms overall, our guide to reading an online operator's terms covers the clauses that matter beyond rewards, and when operators void winnings or close accounts explains what happens when bonus abuse rules are enforced.
Common Questions
Do I need to sign up separately for a casino loyalty program?
Usually not. At FB88, completing registration automatically qualifies you for the Rewards Club, with no separate sign-up. PinoCasino's VIP program is also fully automatic and needs no registration. Some operators do run invitation-only VIP tiers on top of the automatic points scheme.
How long do points take to appear in my account?
At FB88, reward points are credited between 5 and 7 working days after the qualifying wager, so the operator can verify the transaction. Do not expect points to land the moment you place a bet. Pending redemptions are handled separately and take 2 to 3 working days.
What happens to points if a redemption is rejected?
At FB88, points are credited back to your account if a redemption is rejected. While a redemption is pending, the points are deducted from your available balance straight away, so they will not show as spendable until the request is resolved.
Can I earn loyalty points while enrolled in a rebate or reload program?
At FB88, yes. Players can still earn reward points even if they are signed up for Rebate or Reload Programs. That said, only real-money bets count toward VIP level upgrades, so free bets, bonus credit, spins and cash rewards do not move you up a tier.
Which slot games qualify for the 1.5% cash rebate?
Casino Plus lists more than 100 eligible slot games for its 1.5% cash rebate, including Super Ace, Bathala Game, Super Ace Deluxe and Wild Bounty Showdown. The rebate resets daily and is available on both mobile and desktop.
Is there a limit on how much cashback I can claim per day?
Yes, caps are common. Casino Plus sets a daily cap of up to ₱100,000 on its 1.5% cash rebate. PinoCasino caps VIP cashback at up to EUR 1,500 per day, credited daily on losses over each 24-hour period.
