Solaire Resort

Solaire Resort Entertainment City at a glance

Solaire Resort Entertainment City is Manila's premier 5-star integrated resort, sitting in Entertainment City on the Manila Bay waterfront². It was the first of the four rival mega-resort projects planned for Pagcor's Entertainment City by the Manila Bay, which makes it the original anchor of the district rather than a later arrival¹.

The property is owned and operated by Bloomberry Resorts Corporation through its subsidiaries. The company describes itself as owning and operating Solaire Resort & Casino, the first integrated resort at the Entertainment City in Parañaque, Metro Manila⁶. Its business address is Solaire Executive Offices, Solaire Resort and Casino, Asean Ave., Entertainment City, Parañaque City⁶.

The first phase opened in March 2013¹. That timing matters if you are comparing it with newer neighbors: Solaire was there before the rest of the Entertainment City strip filled in. Bloomberry later opened a second property, Solaire Resort North, on a 1.5-hectare site in Quezon City, which formally opened in May 2024 and serves northern Metro Manila and adjacent provinces⁷. That is a separate resort, not the Entertainment City property this page covers.

For a visitor, the practical upshot is simple. You are going to a large, established integrated resort in the Manila Bay area, with a hotel, restaurants, a gaming floor and entertainment under one roof. If you want the Quezon City property instead, that is a different address and a different trip.

What you will find: gaming, dining, stays and entertainment

The resort describes itself as offering world-class stays, dining, gaming, and entertainment². In practice that means you can treat it as a full integrated resort rather than a casino with a hotel attached: rooms, restaurants and the gaming floor are all part of the same complex.

On the gaming side, the licensed product list for Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. covers electronic casino games, sports betting, specialty games, traditional bingo games and electronic bingo games⁵. Specialty games are listed as yet to commence commercial operations, so do not plan a trip around them⁸.

If you prefer to play remotely, Solaire Online is the resort's licensed online arm. It is operated by Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. (Solaire Resort and Casino) and licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation⁹. Its games are live baccarat, slots, electronic table games and virtual games⁹. The site runs at solaireonlinecasino.com⁹.

Beyond gaming, the resort's own framing is stays, dining, gaming and entertainment². That is the honest summary of what is on offer: a hotel to stay in, restaurants to eat at, a gaming floor, and entertainment programming. If you are traveling with people who do not gamble, they are not stuck watching you play.

For comparison, other integrated resorts in the region bundle the same way. NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu, for example, markets world-class accommodations, gaming, entertainment, events, and exclusive shopping and dining offerings¹⁰. Solaire's mix is the same idea in a Metro Manila setting.

Book direct: 1,000 Solaire Pesos and welcome drinks for guests 21 and over

The headline offer for anyone booking a stay is straightforward. Book direct and you get 1,000 Solaire Pesos for guests 21 years old and above³. The same 1,000 Solaire Pesos direct booking benefit appears across the resort's booking pages, always tied to the 21-and-above condition¹¹.

Alongside the credit, a direct booking includes Solaire Signature Welcome Drinks for 2 adults⁴. So the package is two things: a resort credit in local currency and a drinks benefit for two.

A few practical points follow from how the offer is written.

• The credit is stated as 1,000 Solaire Pesos, in the local currency, not a foreign equivalent³.
• It applies to guests 21 years old and above, so the age condition is attached to the benefit itself³.
• The welcome drinks are for 2 adults, which suits a couple or two travelers sharing a booking⁴.
• The benefit is tied to booking direct, so a third-party booking site is not the route to it⁴.

If you are the person organizing the trip, the sequence is: choose your dates on the official site, book the room directly, and confirm at check-in that the credit and the drinks are attached to your reservation. The offer language is consistent across the resort's own pages, which is a good sign that it is a standing direct booking perk rather than a one-off promotion¹¹.

One thing to keep separate in your head: the 1,000 Solaire Pesos is a booking benefit, not a gambling stake and not a guarantee of anything on the gaming floor. Treat it as resort credit attached to your stay.

Minimum age: 21 for the direct booking benefit

The direct booking benefit is stated for guests 21 years old and above, and that is the age figure to remember for this offer¹³. It appears the same way across the resort's booking pages: 1,000 Solaire Pesos for 21 years old and above¹¹.

That 21 threshold is not unique to Solaire. Philippine gaming venue rules state that a prospective player must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of application¹⁵. So the booking benefit's age condition lines up with the general entry age for gaming venues in the country.

If you are coming from elsewhere in Asia, do not assume your home age carries over. Age rules for casinos vary widely across the region:

The pattern is that 21 is common in the Philippines and Singapore for account-based play, while Japan and South Korea set the bar lower. If you are 19 or 20 and traveling in the region, you may be fine at a Korean casino and not fine at a Philippine gaming venue. Check the specific property before you build a trip around it.

For the Solaire direct booking offer specifically, the number that matters is 21. If everyone on the reservation is 21 or older, the credit and the welcome drinks apply as stated¹³.

Getting there and booking through the official website

The resort is in Entertainment City, Parañaque, Metro Manila, on the Manila Bay side of the metro⁶. If you are coming from the airport or from central Manila, plan for metro traffic: Entertainment City is a purpose-built district on reclaimed bayfront land, and the approach roads can be slow at peak hours.

The practical route is to book through the resort's official website rather than a third-party site, because the direct booking benefit is tied to booking direct⁴. The official site is where the 1,000 Solaire Pesos credit and the welcome drinks are stated³.

If you want to play online rather than travel, Solaire Online is the licensed remote option, operated by Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. and licensed by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation⁹. Its address is solaireonlinecasino.com⁹. Bloomberry's registered domain for Solaire Online is also listed as solaireonlinecasino.com in the regulator's register of service providers and registered domains²⁰.

A few things worth confirming before you go:

• Your age. The direct booking benefit is for guests 21 and above, and Philippine gaming venues apply a 21 minimum for players¹³.
• Your booking channel. Book direct to get the 1,000 Solaire Pesos and the welcome drinks for two adults⁴.
• Your dates. The resort is an established property that opened its first phase in March 2013, so it is not a new build with opening-period disruption¹.
• Which Solaire. Entertainment City in Parañaque is this property; Solaire Resort North is in Quezon City and opened in May 2024⁷.

If you are comparing Manila options, the Entertainment City cluster includes several integrated resorts within the same district, so you can plan a trip that covers more than one. If you want to see how the other Philippine properties handle entry, games and getting there, the casinos in the Philippines guide covers who can go in, and the Philippines gambling overview answers the broader question of what is legal and where. For table play specifically, there is a guide to casino table games in Philippine casinos, and if tournaments are your interest, baccarat and table game tournaments in Manila covers that scene. Players clubs and loyalty programs are covered in casino rewards cards and players clubs in Manila.

Within the same operator group, Bloomberry Resorts Corporation: Solaire Resort North, Solaire Poker Room covers the Quezon City property and the poker room. Other Manila integrated resorts with their own entry rules and games include Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila, Newport World Resorts, Winford Resort and Casino Manila, and Metro Card Club. Outside the capital, NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu and Hann Philippines Inc.: Hann Casino Resort, Hann Reserve are the other major Philippine options.
