Bloomberry Resorts

The two Solaire properties at a glance

Both are owned and operated by Bloomberry Resorts Corporation through its subsidiaries. The company is listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange, and its business address is Solaire Executive Offices, Solaire Resort and Casino, Asean Ave., Entertainment City, Parañaque City⁹.

Solaire Poker Room: entry rules and games

The poker room at Solaire is open and licensed. PAGCOR maintains a list of poker operators with issued gaming licenses, and Solaire appears on it alongside other Philippine poker clubs¹⁰. If you are looking for a dedicated poker room in Manila, Solaire is one of the licensed venues where you can play.

Entry to the casino gaming area, including the poker room, is restricted. Banned persons are not allowed to enter, stay or play in the casino gaming area³. This is a standard condition across Philippine casinos. If you have been placed on a banned list, you will not be admitted.

For everyone else, the practical steps are straightforward:

1. Bring a valid photo ID. Foreign visitors should carry their passport. Philippine citizens and foreign residents should carry a government-issued ID.
2. Present your ID at the casino entrance. Staff check it before you go in.
3. Once inside, the poker room sits within the main casino floor at Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, Parañaque.

The poker room is part of the broader gaming offering that includes table games and electronic gaming machines. If you want to know more about table games across Philippine casinos, see Casino Table Games in Philippine Casinos.

Solaire also runs poker tournaments and table game tournaments. For details on how those work in Manila, see Baccarat and Table Game Tournaments in Manila.

If you are comparing Solaire with other Manila casinos, the main alternatives are Okada Manila, City of Dreams Manila, Newport World Resorts, and Winford Resort and Casino Manila. Each has its own poker room and entry rules.

eCasino games and sports betting at Solaire

Solaire holds a PAGCOR license for electronic casino games and sports betting⁴. Electronic casino games are in commercial operation. Sports betting is licensed but has not yet commenced commercial operations⁴.

This means you can play electronic casino games at Solaire now. You cannot yet place sports bets at Solaire, whether at the venue or online, because that product has not gone live.

The distinction matters if you are planning a visit specifically for sports betting. Check the PAGCOR register before you go. The register is updated periodically and will show when sports betting moves from licensed to operational.

Solaire's electronic casino games are part of the broader eCasino offering that PAGCOR regulates. The games are available at the venue. Online, Solaire Online operates under a separate PAGCOR online gaming license.

For a full picture of what gambling is legal in the Philippines and who can do it, see Can I Gamble in the Philippines?. For a list of casinos and who can enter, see Casinos in the Philippines: Who Can Go In.

Specialty Games: not yet in commercial operation

Specialty Games are listed on Solaire's PAGCOR license but have not yet commenced commercial operations¹¹. The same applies to traditional bingo games and electronic bingo games⁴.

This is not unique to Solaire. Several PAGCOR service providers have Specialty Games on their licenses but have not yet started commercial operations. Playmate Leisure Solutions Corp., GoTech Entertainment Inc., and World Platinum Technologies, Inc. are among the providers with Specialty Games still pending¹².

If you are waiting for Specialty Games to launch at Solaire, there is no confirmed date. The PAGCOR register is the best place to check for updates. When the status changes from "yet to commence commercial operations" to operational, it will appear there.

In the meantime, the games you can actually play at Solaire are electronic casino games and poker. Table games are also available on the main casino floor.

Solaire Online: domains and operator

Solaire Online is operated by Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. (Solaire Resort and Casino)⁵. It holds a PAGCOR online gaming license. The registered domain is https://www.solaireonlinecasino.com/⁴.

Bloomberry also holds licenses for other domains. These include pesomaxfun.com, megafunalo.com and 63fun.com¹³. A separate domain, http://www.solaireonline.com, is registered to Superpanalo.ph⁴.

The main brand associated with Bloomberry's online offering is FUNaloMAX¹⁴. This is the brand name that appears on the PAGCOR register alongside Bloomberry's licensed domains.

If you are signing up for Solaire Online, use the registered domain. Check that the site displays a PAGCOR license. PAGCOR maintains a list of authorized online remote gaming platforms, and Solaire Online appears on it⁵.

For players in Asia, the key point is that Solaire Online is licensed in the Philippines. If you are in a country where online casino play is illegal, the license does not protect you. Check your local rules before signing up.

Solaire Online's games include electronic casino games. Sports betting is licensed but not yet operational⁴. Specialty Games are also not yet operational¹¹.
