DYNAM at a glance
DYNAM is a pachinko hall chain with branches spread across Japan, from Sapporo in Hokkaido down to Kumamoto in Kyushu. The operator's own store list is the place to check what exists near you, and it is long: hundreds of halls, each with its own page showing address, phone number, machine count and opening hours1.
Pachinko itself is everywhere in Japan. Independent guides put the number of parlors in the thousands nationwide, so DYNAM is one chain inside a very large market rather than the whole of it8. What makes DYNAM worth knowing is consistency: the same card system, the same two store formats and the same style of hall from one prefecture to the next.
A typical DYNAM hall is not small. Here is what the machine counts look like across a sample of stores:
| Store | Machines | Format |
|---|---|---|
| Dynam Ayase Higashiguchi | 297 | Standard2 |
| Dynam Nagano Iiyama | 480 | Standard9 |
| Dynam Sakaimisato | 480 | Standard10 |
| Dynam Izumo | 497 | Standard11 |
| Dynam Sapporo Kiyota | 512 | Standard4 |
| Dynam Takasaki Misato Yuttari-kan | 516 | Yuttari Kan12 |
| Dynam Kumamoto Nagasu Yuttari Kan | 520 | Yuttari Kan13 |
| Dynam Nagano Saku | 524 | Standard14 |
| Dynam Oita Usa Yuttari-kan | 538 | Yuttari Kan15 |
| Dynam Yotsukaido | 605 | Standard3 |
That range tells you what to expect: a mid-sized to large hall with a few hundred machines on the floor.
Two store formats: DYNAM and DYNAM Yuttari Kan
The chain runs two types of store, and the difference matters more than anything else on this page1.

A standard DYNAM hall is built around conventional high-stake machines. That is the format most people picture when they think of pachinko: you rent balls at the standard rate, and the cost per ball is higher7.
A DYNAM Yuttari Kan is built around low-stake machines. The operator describes these halls as places to play casually and slowly, with low-denomination pachinko as the center of the floor16. Because each ball costs less, your money stretches further and a session lasts longer. The trade-off is that payouts scale down with the stake.
Yuttari Kan halls are not stripped-down versions of the main format. They carry a wide spread of machines, from nostalgic older models to the latest releases, and at least one store notes a variety of prize items as well16. Dynam Chiba Unakami Yuttari-kan, for example, describes its floor as covering everything from familiar old machines to current models5.
If you are new to pachinko, or you want a long session without a large budget, the Yuttari Kan format is the one to look for. If you want the standard game at full stake, look for a plain DYNAM sign.
Games on offer: machine counts and rates
Both formats run pachinko and slot machines, and the split between them varies by store.
At Dynam Ayase Higashiguchi, the pachinko floor is 169 machines in total: 102 at the 4-yen rate and 67 at the 100-yen-for-89-balls rate2. Dynam Nagano Iiyama runs 320 pachinko machines, split between 220 at 4 yen and 100 at 1 yen9. Dynam Izumo has 360 pachinko machines, 200 at 4 yen and 160 at 1 yen11. Dynam Sakaimisato runs 320 pachinko machines, 200 at 4 yen and 120 at 1 yen10.
The Yuttari Kan halls lean the other way. Dynam Ishikawa Nomi Yuttari-kan has 240 pachinko machines, 40 at 200 yen for 96 balls and 200 at 1 yen6. Dynam Kumamoto Nagasu Yuttari Kan runs 280 pachinko machines, 40 at 500 yen for 225 balls and 240 at 200 yen for 180 balls13. Dynam Akita Gojome has 320 pachinko machines, 160 at 4 yen and 160 at the 100-yen-for-89-balls rate17.
Slots follow the same pattern. Dynam Sapporo Kiyota runs 224 slot machines, all at 1000 yen for 89 medals4. Dynam Saitama Hanyu Yuttari Kan runs 140 slot machines at 1000 yen for 86 medals18. Dynam Omura lists 350 pachinko machines and 259 slot machines19.
The practical read: the lower the yen figure per ball or per medal, the longer your budget lasts and the smaller each win. A 1-yen machine and a 4-yen machine are the same game at different stakes.
Popular machines and what the floor looks like
DYNAM's own site links a popular-machine ranking1. If you have a particular machine in mind, it is worth checking before you go.
The wider pachinko world gives you a sense of how varied the floor can be. Machines range from drum-type digipachi such as Fever Axis I20 to character-led CR machines like CR Hitomi no Ryori Kyoshitsu 2, built around a cooking-loving protagonist named Hitomi21. On the slot side, Midori Don VIVA! Jonetsu Nanbei-hen is a Generation 5 pachislo machine22, while Menso-re is an A-type stock machine23. Older-style pachinko includes ball-storing hanemono types such as Workman24, and AT-spec machines like Hihouden: Taiyou wo Motomeru Monotachi, where normal-time winning roles are almost all replays and push-order bells25.
You do not need to know any of this to walk in and play. It matters if you are chasing a specific machine, because a hall with a few hundred machines will carry a broad mix rather than one title.
New store openings and renovated reopenings
The operator's main site carries a section for new store openings and renovated reopenings7. That is the place to look if you want to know what is new rather than what already exists.

Individual store pages also carry opening dates, which is a quick way to spot a recent hall:
- Dynam Sapporo Kiyota opened on March 16, 20194
- Dynam Oita Usa Yuttari-kan opened on April 29, 201715
- Dynam Takasaki Misato Yuttari-kan opened on December 27, 201412
- Dynam Ishikawa Kahoku Yuttari-kan and Dynam Ishikawa Nomi Yuttari-kan both opened on September 3, 201016
- Dynam Nagano Iiyama opened on December 26, 20059
- Dynam Ishikawa Kaga opened on October 4, 200326
A store page with a recent opening date and a full machine list is usually a hall that has been built or refreshed rather than one running unchanged for years.
Where DYNAM stores are located (and why not Okinawa)
DYNAM branches appear across Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu. A sample of addresses shows the spread:
| Store | Address |
|---|---|
| Dynam Sapporo Kiyota | 〒004-0842 札幌市清田区清田2条3丁目1番48号4 |
| Dynam Nagano Iiyama | 〒389-2255 長野県飯山市大字静間字郷谷1418番地29 |
| Dynam Ishikawa Kaga | 〒922-0013 石川県加賀市上河崎町91番地126 |
| Dynam Ishikawa Kahoku Yuttari-kan | 〒929-1105 石川県かほく市横山イ32番地16 |
| Dynam Chiba Unakami Yuttari-kan | 〒289-2613 千葉県旭市後草1226番地5 |
| Dynam Oita Usa Yuttari-kan | 〒879-0457 大分県宇佐市大字芝原字榊 229番地115 |
Some halls sit inside larger retail sites. Dynam Akita Gojome is on the grounds of the Aeon Super Center Gojome store, which makes it easy to combine with shopping17.
Okinawa is the gap. The chain's store list covers the main islands but no Okinawa branch appears, so if you are based there you would need a different operator1.
Getting there and what to expect on the day
Most DYNAM stores publish a mapcode alongside the address, which is the simplest way to navigate by car. Enter the mapcode into your car navigation system and it takes you to the lot:
- Dynam Nagano Iiyama: 54 898 609*89
- Dynam Ishikawa Kahoku Yuttari-kan: 336 282 132*1316
- Dynam Takasaki Misato Yuttari-kan: 94 460 853*1412
Parking is generous at the larger halls. Dynam Fukushima Sukagawa lists 509 parking spaces27, which tells you the scale these stores are built for.
Opening hours are long and fairly consistent:
| Store | Hours |
|---|---|
| Dynam Sapporo Kiyota | 9:00 to 23:004 |
| Dynam Saitama Hanyu Yuttari Kan | 10:00 to 23:0018 |
| Dynam Yotsukaido | 10:00 to 22:453 |
Check the individual store page before a late visit, since the closing time varies by branch.
On the floor, you rent balls or medals at the rate shown for the machine you choose, play, and exchange what you win inside the hall. At Dynam Hinata Yuttari-kan, players can freely share and split the balls they win, which suits couples, friends and parents with children, though not between corners that use different rental ball rates28. That store also provides a smoking room28.
Food and drink are available at some branches. Dynam Hinata Yuttari-kan runs a restaurant serving ramen, udon and soba, operated by Nihon Hyumap, with the note that some items may be unavailable, plus a coffee wagon with a full menu28.
Membership is worth setting up if you plan to return. The DYNAM Card earns points, and at Dynam Ishikawa Nomi Yuttari-kan that means 1 point per day6. Dynam Sapporo Kiyota says it is actively recruiting new card members4. You can ask at the counter when you arrive.

Common Questions
How many DYNAM stores are there in Japan?
The chain runs hundreds of pachinko halls across most of Japan, from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south. Each store page on the operator's site lists its own machine count, address and opening hours, so the exact number changes as stores open and close.
What is the difference between DYNAM and DYNAM Yuttari Kan?
A standard DYNAM hall is built around conventional high-stake machines, where you rent balls at the standard rate. A DYNAM Yuttari Kan is built around low-stake machines, so each ball costs less and play lasts longer. Both carry pachinko and slot machines.
Are there DYNAM stores in Okinawa?
No. The chain's store list covers Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku and Kyushu, but no Okinawa branch appears. If you are in Okinawa, you would need a different operator.
Where can I find announcements about new DYNAM openings?
The operator's main site carries a section for new store openings and renovated reopenings. Individual store pages also show their own opening dates, so a recently dated page usually means a new or refreshed hall.
Does DYNAM publish which pachinko machines are popular?
The operator's site links a popular-machine ranking. Some individual stores also publish machine data, though at least one store does so only through LINE.
Who operates the DYNAM chain?
DYNAM is a Japanese pachinko hall operator running its own branded stores under the DYNAM and DYNAM Yuttari Kan names. Store pages carry the operator's own address, phone number and opening details for each branch.
