Bets.io published Version 5.0 of its Terms and Conditions on 14 September 2026, the operator's own document states. The terms cover who may open an account, which countries are barred, supported currencies, deposit and withdrawal rules, and the law that governs disputes1.

The document states that the terms and any dispute connected to them or to use of the website are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, and that only the English version has legal effect1. On eligibility, it says the casino accepts only adult players who are at least 18 years old and who have reached any higher minimum gambling age required in their jurisdiction1. The restricted countries list names 45 jurisdictions, including the United States, Belgium, Cyprus, Israel, Russia, Ukraine, Myanmar, North Korea, Costa Rica itself, Curacao and Panama, and states that it covers all named nations' territories and possessions1. Players in restricted countries may access content such as news and information but may not use other features, and the casino says it cannot guarantee successful processing of withdrawals or refunds if a player breaches that policy1.

Deposit limits are tiered by total deposits made. The minimum deposit per transaction is 5 USDT, 20 EUR, 20 USD, 20 GBP, 150 JPY, 300 INR, 1,000 NGN or 3,000 ARS, among other amounts1. The operator says it charges no internal deposit fee unless stated in the cashier, and that third-party payments are strictly prohibited1. Before withdrawing, a player must wager each deposit at least once1. Bank transfers may take up to ten banking days after approval and may carry third-party charges payable by the player, and the maximum payout per gaming session is USDT 100,000 or the equivalent in fiat currency1. Winnings above USDT 30,000 are paid on a schedule agreed individually with the player1.

Other provisions state that each player may hold only one personal account, that an account is considered dormant after 180 consecutive days without a login and may attract a dormant account fee of USD 10 or the equivalent, and that players are responsible for paying all fees and taxes applied to winnings under the laws of their residence1. Self-exclusion is offered for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months, 1 year or an indefinite period, with reactivation, where permitted, no earlier than seven calendar days after a request1. Information requests must generally be answered within 30 calendar days, and technical complaints must be submitted within 24 hours of the relevant transaction1.

What it means for players

The restricted countries list determines who can hold an account at all, and it includes several jurisdictions in Asia and beyond, among them Myanmar and North Korea, as well as Costa Rica, where the operator is based for legal purposes1. Players in those places are limited to reading content. For everyone else, the practical points are the one-times wagering requirement before any withdrawal, the ban on deposits from accounts not registered in the player's own name, and the tiered deposit ceilings that rise with the total already deposited1. The maximum payout per session of USDT 100,000 and the individual payment schedule above USDT 30,000 in winnings are the figures most likely to affect large balances1. Bets.io states that blockchain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed and that deposits sent to a wrong address or unsupported network may not be recoverable1.

What happens next

The terms took effect when published on 14 September 2026, and the operator says amendments take effect when published unless stated otherwise1. Bets.io reserves the right to change the restricted countries list at its sole discretion and without forewarning, with changes published on the website1. No further dated steps have been reported.
