What 4D Jackpot games are
An ordinary 4D bet is a single four-digit number. A 4D Jackpot bet takes two numbers and pairs them, so you win the big prize only when both of your numbers land among the winning numbers in the same draw. That harder condition is what lets the prize pool grow draw after draw until somebody hits it, which is why these games regularly advertise prizes in the millions of ringgit while a standard 4D first prize pays a fixed amount.
Malaysia's licensed number-game operators each run their own version. Magnum has 4D Jackpot and Jackpot Gold. Da Ma Cai has the 1+3D Jackpot, the 3D Jackpot and the 3+3D Bonus. Cash Sweep has the 1+3D Jackpot as well, and publishes a how-to-play video for it on its site7. All of them sit on top of the same Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday draw schedule as the ordinary games, so you buy your jackpot bet at the same counters and check the same results.
The idea of pairing numbers to build a rollover prize is not unique to Malaysia. Vietlott's Max 3D games in Vietnam work on a similar principle of matching sets of three-digit numbers, with a top prize of 1,000,000,000 VND per 10,000 VND entry when you match both special-prize triples9. But the Malaysian 4D jackpot games are the ones most visitors and expats will actually come across, so this page focuses on them. If you are new to the underlying game, read how 4D works first.
4D Jackpot: pick two 4-digit numbers
Magnum's 4D Jackpot is the simplest of the family. You pick two 4-digit numbers, each anywhere from 0000 to 9999, and place RM 2 for each play2. Your two numbers can be anything you like: birthdays, car plates, or a Lucky Pick where the system chooses for you.

The winning condition is what makes it a jackpot. In each 4D draw, 23 numbers win prizes: a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize, plus ten special prizes and ten consolation prizes. To win Jackpot 1, both of your numbers must match any two of the top three prizes in the same draw1. To win Jackpot 2, one of your numbers must match a top-three prize and the other must match any of the ten special prizes1.
If neither jackpot hits but one of your numbers still matches a prize-winning number, you are not left empty-handed. Matching one of the top three prizes pays a fixed RM 1,000,000, and there are smaller fixed prizes down the list: RM 168 for the 3rd Prize tier, RM 68 for the 4th and RM 28 for the 5th2. So a jackpot ticket behaves partly like an ordinary 4D ticket with a very large bonus attached.
The jackpot amounts you see advertised, such as the RM 25,417,000 headline figure Magnum has displayed for 4D Jackpot, are estimates, and Magnum notes that estimated jackpot amounts and prize rules apply1. The real number that matters is the one published for the draw you enter.
4D Jackpot Gold: 6 digits plus a golden number
Jackpot Gold is Magnum's second jackpot game, and it works differently. Instead of two 4-digit numbers, you pick a 6-digit number plus a 2-digit golden number from 00 to 193. To win Jackpot Gold 1, you must match the six winning numbers plus the golden number3.
The prize structure is a share-based one. Each minimum play of RM 2 gives you a 5 percent share of Jackpot Gold 1, which starts from RM 2,000,000 plus RM 100,0008. Buy RM 40 worth of plays on the same combination and you hold 100 percent of the prize if it hits. That is very different from 4D Jackpot, where each RM 2 unit is one equal share among all winners.
Below the jackpot there is a ladder of fixed prizes. The 3rd Prize pays RM 100,000, the 4th Prize RM 3,388, the 5th RM 338, the 6th RM 38 and the 7th RM 43. Magnum has advertised the game with a headline of "Win RM 12,199,000 with one golden ticket" and shown a live Jackpot Gold figure of RM 12,757,763.451. As with 4D Jackpot, the advertised amounts are estimates and prize-sharing rules apply3.
The game is sold at Magnum 4D outlets, and Magnum's own pitch is that "RM 2 is all it takes"3.
Da Ma Cai 3+3D Bonus: 3D pairs and a zodiac bonus
Da Ma Cai's 3+3D Bonus is the most elaborate of the three. You select two sets of 3D numbers from 000 to 999, which together form a 6-digit number, plus one Bonus chosen from the twelve Chinese zodiac signs4. The basic play is therefore a pair of three-digit numbers and a zodiac animal.
There are several ways to bet:
- A single bet is one pair plus one zodiac.
- Lucky Pick lets the system choose for you.
- BOX bets cover your numbers in any order, Rolling lets the system fill in digits you do not want to fix, and you can roll up to 2 digits only4.
- The Z bet covers all twelve zodiac signs at once, and the iZ bet is a cheaper version of it.
- System bets run from 3 to 25 3D numbers, covering up to 360 three-digit numbers5.
Each bet must be in a multiple of RM 14.
The prizes come in two layers. The fixed layer pays per RM 1 bet: RM 120,000 for the 1st prize, RM 15,000 for the 2nd and RM 10,000 for the 3rd, plus RM 2 if your numbers match the first or last three digits of a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize number5. The zodiac layer is the rollover: the zodiac bonus 1st prize starts at a base of RM 50,000, and RM 30,000 is added as a weekly bonus at each Sunday draw until it is won5.
One quirk of the rollover: if a bonus prize is fully won on a Saturday draw, the next day's draw resets to the RM 50,000 seeding bonus only, without the RM 30,000 weekly addition4. So the biggest zodiac pools build up over consecutive Sunday draws with no winner.
The winning numbers are not drawn separately. The 3D winning number is the last three digits of the 1+3D winning number, and Da Ma Cai's Super 1+3D prizes are based on the four-digit numbers drawn at a 1+3D draw4. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning prizes for the Draw 1+3D and 3D games are determined by a designated horse race selected for each Da Ma Cai draw4.
Da Ma Cai also runs two simpler jackpot games alongside the 3+3D Bonus. The 1+3D Jackpot asks you to pair 4-digit numbers at a minimum of RM 2 per pair, with a 3rd Prize of RM 168 subject to a maximum payout of RM 10,000,000, a 4th Prize of RM 68 and a 5th Prize of RM 284. The 3D Jackpot asks for three sets of 3D numbers from 000 to 999, all automatically treated as BOX bets, with a minimum bet of RM 2 or multiples of RM 2, and system bets from SB4 to SB254. The 3D Jackpot has three prize categories: Jackpot Prize, 2nd Prize and Consolation Prize4.
Cash Sweep's version of the 1+3D Jackpot pays group prizes of RM 84 for the 3rd Prize, RM 34 for the 4th and RM 14 for the 5th, and the operator publishes a how-to-play video for the game7.
What the prizes are and how they are shared
The fixed prizes are simple: you match, you get paid the published amount. The jackpots are pools, and pools get shared. Here is how each game handles multiple winners.
In Magnum's 4D Jackpot, if there is more than one winner in a draw, the Jackpot 1 prize is divided among the winners based on each winner's respective winning play8. Each unit play of RM 2 is entitled to one share of the Jackpot 1 prize8. Jackpot 2 works the same way, divided based on each winner's winning play and the number of Jackpot 2 prizes won8. In practice this means a player who bought ten units on the winning pair takes ten shares, while a player with one unit takes one.
In Jackpot Gold, the sharing is built in from the start. Each RM 2 play is a 5 percent share of Jackpot Gold 1, so a single RM 2 winner can never take the whole advertised amount; they take their slice8. For the lower prize tiers, if more than 20 winners in a draw match six numbers, the 1st prize pool is shared equally based on winning shares, and the same rule applies to the 2nd prize when more than 20 winners match five numbers8.
In Da Ma Cai's 3+3D Bonus, the aggregated Bonus Prize Money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes shall not at any time exceed RM 9,000,0004. That cap is the answer to the natural question of how big the zodiac bonus can get: it stops at nine million ringgit no matter how many weeks it rolls.
The share-based approach is common across the region's jackpot games. Vietlott's Power 6/55 divides its jackpot equally by share value among multiple winners, and its Jackpot 2 is split into six equal parts, with a single winner taking all six if nobody else matches12. Mega 6/45 likewise divides the jackpot among winners corresponding to each player's entry value13. If you want to see how these pools build up over unwon draws, read about jackpot rollovers, snowballs and cascades.
Minimum bets and system bet costs
The headline costs are small, but system bets can add up fast. Here is the picture:
| Game | Minimum bet | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Magnum 4D Jackpot | RM 2 per play | One pair of 4-digit numbers, one jackpot share2 |
| Magnum Jackpot Gold | RM 2 per play | One 6-digit number plus golden number, a 5 percent share of Jackpot Gold 18 |
| Da Ma Cai 1+3D Jackpot | RM 2 per pair | One pair of 4-digit numbers4 |
| Da Ma Cai 3D Jackpot | RM 2 or multiples of RM 2 | Three sets of 3D numbers, all BOX4 |
| Da Ma Cai 3+3D Bonus | Multiples of RM 1 | Two 3D numbers plus one zodiac4 |
System bets are where the cost climbs. In Da Ma Cai's 3+3D Bonus, the largest system bet, SB360, covers 129,240 combinations for a total bet amount of RM 129,2404. That is the extreme end; smaller system bets covering fewer 3D numbers cost proportionally less. The 3D Jackpot's system bets run from SB4 to SB25, meaning four to twenty-five sets of 3D numbers4.
For comparison, an ordinary 4D bet in Singapore costs a minimum of $1 per permutation on a System Entry, where you select four digits and bet on all their permutations, with prize money proportionately divided by the number of permutations14. A 4D Roll bet, where you mark three digits and an "R", costs your marked stake multiplied by 10, because the rolled digit generates ten combinations15. The same multiplier logic explains why jackpot system bets are expensive: more coverage means more combinations, each of which must be paid for.

Where you can play these games
Magnum sells 4D Jackpot and Jackpot Gold at its 4D outlets across Malaysia; the operator's pitch for Jackpot Gold is to "try it at your nearest Magnum 4D outlet"3. Da Ma Cai and Cash Sweep sell their jackpot games through their own outlet networks, the same counters where ordinary 1+3D and 4D bets are taken. Cash Sweep's site carries a how-to-play video for the 1+3D Jackpot game, published October 8, 2026, which walks through the mechanics7.

For ordinary 4D-style betting, Cash Sweep offers eight ways to play, including Standard, Lucky Pick, Permutation, Roll First, Roll Last and i-CASH, where i-CASH covers all possible combinations of a selected 4-digit number at RM 1.00 per play6. Its Small Bets can only match against the top three sets of winning numbers16.
In Singapore, Singapore Pools does not run a paired-number jackpot game, but its 4D product covers the same draw days. Bets can be placed for the current Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday draw, or for six consecutive draws including the current one15. A bet slip holds up to four number combinations of the same bet type15. Account holders can also place bets online, including Self Pick bets for Ordinary, 4D Roll, System Entry and iBet for draws conducted on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday18. Singapore Pools also runs a Cascade Draw feature on its jackpot games, ensuring that if there is no winner by the fourth draw, the jackpot goes to the next winning prize level19.
If you are traveling or new to a country, the practical rule is the same everywhere: buy from the operator's own counters or official channels, keep your ticket, and check results on the operator's site. Cash Sweep publishes its results, including 1+3D Jackpot group prizes, on its results page11. For the wider picture of legitimate sales points, see where to buy lottery tickets in Asia.
Recent jackpots and winning draws
The jackpot figures move with every draw, so treat any number here as a snapshot. As of late September 2026, Magnum's homepage showed a 4D Jackpot Jackpot 1 prize of RM 4,691,271.02, a 4D Jackpot Gold figure of RM 12,757,763.45, and headline estimates of RM 25,417,000 for 4D Jackpot and RM 12,199,000 for Jackpot Gold1. The next Magnum draw was listed for Saturday, September 261.
In Vietnam, Vietlott's Max 3D results page showed a top prize pool of 1,000,000,000 VND as of September 25, 202620. The Max 3D Pro game pays a Sub Jackpot of VND 400,000,000 for matching two sets of three numbers of the Jackpot prize in the reverse drawing order, and a 4th Prize of VND 1,000,000 for matching any two sets of three numbers of the Jackpot, 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize9. In the basic Max 3D single triple play, the special prize pays 1,000,000 VND per 10,000 VND entry for matching either of two special-prize triples in exact order, and the first prize pays 350,000 VND for matching any of four first-prize triples in order10. If an entry wins multiple prizes, the player receives the sum of the prizes10.
Draw days are the anchor for all of this. The Malaysian and Singaporean 4D games draw on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday15, so a jackpot bet placed on Monday is sitting in the pool for several days before you know its fate. Check the operator's results page after each draw, and if you win, the claiming process is the same as for an ordinary ticket; see how to claim a lottery prize in Asia.
Common Questions
How much does a 4D Jackpot bet cost?
Magnum's 4D Jackpot costs RM 2 per play, and each RM 2 unit counts as one share of the jackpot if you win. Da Ma Cai's 1+3D Jackpot also has a RM 2 minimum per pair of numbers. System bets cost more because they cover more number combinations.
What is the golden number in Jackpot Gold?
It is a two-digit number from 00 to 19 that you pick alongside your six-digit number. To win Jackpot Gold 1 you must match the six winning numbers plus the golden number. Each RM 2 play gives you a 5 percent share of the prize.
How do you win Jackpot 1 in 4D Jackpot?
Pick two 4-digit numbers from 0000 to 9999. If both of your numbers match any two of the top three prizes in the same 4D draw, you win Jackpot 1. Matching one top prize and one of the ten special prizes wins Jackpot 2.
What is the Bonus Zodiac in Da Ma Cai 3+3D Bonus?
It is one of the twelve Chinese zodiac signs you pick alongside your two 3D numbers. The zodiac bonus starts at RM 50,000 and grows by RM 30,000 at each Sunday draw until it is won.
What is the maximum Bonus Prize Money in 3+3D Bonus?
The combined Bonus Prize Money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes can never exceed RM 9,000,000 at any time, no matter how long the bonus rolls over.
Can I play 4D Jackpot online?
In Malaysia, Magnum and Da Ma Cai sell jackpot games through their own outlets and channels. In Singapore, Singapore Pools lets account holders place 4D bets online for Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday draws.
What happens if more than one player wins the Bonus Prize?
Shared prizes are divided among winners. In Magnum's 4D Jackpot, each RM 2 unit play entitles you to one share of the prize, so the payout depends on how many winning units there are in the draw.
