The full Sports Toto range

Sports Toto, run by STM Lottery Sdn Bhd, is one of Malaysia's licensed number forecast operators, alongside Magnum and Da Ma Cai6. Where those rivals focus on 4D, Sports Toto spreads across the whole number-game spectrum, and every outlet sells the full range: Toto 4D, Toto 4D Jackpot, Toto 4D Zodiac, Toto 4D Fireball, Toto 5D, Toto 6D, Star Toto 6/50, Power Toto 6/55 and Supreme Toto 6/582.

The games fall into three families:

  • 4D games, where you pick a four-digit number. Plain Toto 4D pays fixed prizes, 4D Jackpot pairs two numbers for a shot at a rolling jackpot, 4D Zodiac adds a Chinese zodiac sign, and Fireball adds a bonus digit drawn each time.
  • 5D and 6D, longer-number games with many prize tiers, including jackpot versions with minimums in the millions.
  • Lotto-style draws (6/50, 6/55, 6/58), where you pick six numbers from a pool and the top prize snowballs draw after draw.

Draws happen several times a week, and the same numbers are often drawn across the whole family of games, which is why you will see queues at outlets on draw days. For how the brand fits into the wider Malaysian lottery scene, see the Malaysia lottery and the sister pages on Magnum 4D games and Da Ma Cai games.

Toto 4D Jackpot: two jackpots and how the prize pool works

Toto 4D Jackpot takes the classic 4D idea and doubles it. You choose two sets of four-digit numbers, and those two sets together count as one bet costing RM21. If both of your numbers come up among the winners, you take a jackpot.

The game has two jackpot levels:

  • Jackpot 1 is won when your two numbers match any two of the three top prizes in the 4D draw. It starts with an upfront RM2,000,000, and adds 55% of the prize pool plus any amount carried over from previous draws, so it has no maximum and keeps growing until someone wins4.
  • Jackpot 2 is won when one of your numbers matches any of the top three prizes and the other matches any of the ten special prizes. It takes 10% of the prize pool plus any carryover, with a minimum guaranteed RM100,0004.

The prize pool itself equals 55% of the total stakes collected on that draw, so the more Malaysia bets, the bigger the jackpots4.

There is also a cascading rule worth knowing about: if Jackpot 1 is not won and its amount reaches RM30 million or more, the portion above RM20 million cascades down into Jackpot 2 for that draw4. So a long drought can make the second-tier prize unusually large too.

Below the jackpots sit fixed prizes per RM2 bet: RM168 if one of your numbers matches a top-three prize, RM68 for a special prize, and RM28 for a consolation prize. The combined payout for these three lower tiers is capped at RM10,000,000 per draw4.

To see how big these jackpots get in practice, the draw on September 23, 2026 carried a Jackpot 1 of RM9,246,358.98 and a Jackpot 2 of RM158,232.03, while the September 20 draw had RM8,376,082.81 and RM155,652.975.

Toto 4D Fireball: RM1 bets and the Fireball rule

Fireball is the entry-level game, with a minimum stake of just RM13. You pick a four-digit number, for example 1234, exactly as in plain 4D. The twist is the Fireball number drawn alongside the winning numbers: it can replace any single digit in the numbers drawn, giving you extra ways to win3.

Here is how it works in practice. In draw 6189/26 on September 23, 2026, the Fireball number was 65. If the drawn first prize was 1236, the Fireball could replace any one of its digits, producing 6236, 1636, 1266 or 1236, so a ticket holding any of those four numbers would collect the first-prize payout. The same logic applies to every prize tier.

Prizes are quoted per RM1 bet9:

ResultPrize per RM1
1st prize, or any Fireball combination for 1stRM500
2nd prize, or any Fireball combination for 2ndRM200
3rd prize, or any Fireball combination for 3rdRM100
Special prize, or any Fireball combination for SpecialRM30

For comparison, a plain RM2 Toto 4D Big bet pays RM2,500 for first prize, RM1,000 for second and RM500 for third, while the Small version pays RM3,500 for first only4. Fireball costs half as much and pays less per tier, but the Fireball digit gives you several extra matching chances on every ticket.

Toto 5D and Toto 6D: prizes and permutations

Toto 5D and Toto 6D stretch the idea to five and six digits, and they pay out on many more combinations, including partial matches and permutations of your number.

In Toto 5D, permutation prizes apply to the first, second and third prizes only. The more permutations your number has, the smaller each payout, because the prize is split across the matching arrangements4:

Toto 5D result5 permutations10 permutations20 permutations120 permutations
1st prizeRM3,000.00RM1,500.00RM1,500.00RM100.00
2nd prizeRM1,000.00RM300.00
3rd prizeRM600.00

A number like 11122 has few distinct arrangements, so each one pays more; a number with five different digits has 120 permutations, and the first prize splits to RM100 each4.

Toto 6D pays even on fragments of the winning number4:

Toto 6D resultPrize
5 digits drawn as 1st prizeRM15,000
5 digits drawn as 2nd prizeRM5,000
Last 3 digits of 1st prizeRM20
Last 2 digits of 1st prizeRM5
First 2 or last 2 digits of 1st prizeRM4

Both games also come in jackpot versions. The 5D jackpot has a minimum of RM3,000,000. The 6D family has two jackpot games: one where Jackpot 1 takes 40% of the prize pool with a minimum of RM1,188,888 and Jackpot 2 has a minimum of RM100,000, and a second game whose jackpot starts at RM8,888,8884. Across all of them, prize payments are guaranteed in full5.

Supreme Toto 6/58, 6/55 and Star Toto 6/50: the big-jackpot draws

These three are the lotto-style games, and Supreme Toto 6/58 carries the biggest jackpots in the Sports Toto stable. You pick six numbers from 58, and the top prize snowballs when nobody matches all six.

Supreme Toto 6/58, 6/55 and Star Toto 6/50: the big-jackpot draws

Recent draws show the scale. Supreme Toto 6/58 jackpots stood at RM11,633,363.34 on September 19, 2026, RM11,911,870.14 on September 20 and RM12,176,389.40 on September 23, with an estimated RM17,282,000.00 advertised for the September 26 draw5. Earlier in the month the figures were RM9,687,521.56 on September 2 and RM11,351,102.07 on September 1610.

Star Toto 6/50, with six numbers from 50, runs at a more modest level: RM1,311,156.30 on September 19, RM1,351,552.92 on September 20 and RM1,391,376.88 on September 23, with second prizes of RM157,784.79, RM167,883.95 and RM177,839.94 over the same draws5. Power Toto 6/55 sits between the two in difficulty.

Because the 6/58 pool is the largest, matching all six numbers is the hardest ticket in the range, which is exactly why its jackpot climbs into eight figures and keeps climbing.

System Play: from System 3 to System 20

System Play is a way to cover more numbers with one ticket, and it applies to the 4D games. If you have more than two sets of straight 4D numbers, you can play them as a system11.

The naming is simple: bet on three sets of 4D numbers and you are playing System 3, and the same concept runs all the way to System 20, the maximum of 20 sets11. A System Play ticket covers all combinations of 4D straight bets across your chosen numbers, so a System 10 entry gives you every possible pairing within your ten numbers for jackpot purposes, and every number stands on its own for the fixed 4D prizes.

The minimum bet is RM2, and the cost scales with the number of sets you include11. System Play, Standard and i-System are the three play methods offered across the 4D games1. i-System is the computer-pick version for when you do not want to choose your own numbers.

Buying tickets and checking results

Sports Toto bets are placed at outlets across Malaysia, and the window is generous: you can bet as early as eight draws in advance, and the latest you can bet on a current draw is before 7:00 pm on draw day2. Anything bought after that rolls forward to a later draw.

Buying tickets and checking results

To check whether you have won, the operator's site has two tools. The "Did I Win" page lets you check results for 4D, 5D, 6D, 4D Zodiac, 4D Jackpot and the 6/50, 6/55 and 6/58 games13. The prize calculator covers the same game list and works out what your ticket has won14. One caveat from the operator: if there is any discrepancy between the site and the official winning results, the official results prevail14.

For a feel for real draws, the September 23, 2026 draw produced 4D winning numbers 3715 (first), 2740 (second) and 7599 (third)5. Prize payments across the range are guaranteed in full5.

Who can play

Two rules gate entry, and both come from the operator itself. You must be at least 21 years old to place a bet or claim a prize12, and you must be non-Muslim2. The religious rule reflects Malaysian law: gambling is prohibited for Muslims under Islamic law, and that applies to Muslim visitors as well as citizens15. Non-Muslim foreign visitors face no such restriction and can buy tickets like anyone else16. Some states with stricter interpretations of Islamic law may also restrict the sale or claim of lottery tickets to certain groups regardless of nationality, so the counter is the final arbiter. For the wider picture, see gambling in Malaysia.

Common Questions

What is the minimum bet for Toto 4D Fireball?

How far in advance can I place a Sports Toto bet?

You can bet up to eight draws ahead of the one you want to enter. That is the earliest window Sports Toto allows at its outlets.

What is the latest time to bet on a draw day?

Bets close before 7:00 pm on the day of the draw. After that, any ticket you buy counts toward a later draw.

How old do I have to be to play Sports Toto?

You must be at least 21 years old to place a bet or claim a prize. That is higher than the 18-plus common in many countries, so bring ID if you look young.
