PCSO Lotto Jackpot Games

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office runs five main six-number lotto draws, from Lotto 6/42 up to Ultra Lotto 6/58, with tickets at PHP 25 and jackpots that roll over until someone wins. Here is how each game works, what prizes pay, and how to play.

The PCSO jackpot games at a glance

A ticket costs PHP 25 at thousands of outlets across the Philippines, and the top prizes are the largest of any game the government runs1. The lotto is the biggest legal numbers game in the country, and for most Filipinos it is the first form of gambling they ever try.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office launched its first on-line lottery in 1995, starting with Lotto 6/42. Its legality was questioned at the time, but the Supreme Court ruled that the new lottery was legal, and the game has run ever since5. Over the years the PCSO added more formats: the digit games (3D, 4D and 6D), then bigger six-number draws, up to today's lineup of Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45, Lotto 6/42, 6D, 4D, 3D and 2D Lotto4.

The PCSO's job is not just to run games. It also runs sweepstakes and the Small Town Lottery, and the money it raises funds medical assistance and charity programs across the country6. That is why the lotto is sold everywhere, from mall counters to small neighborhood outlets, and why draws are a nightly television fixture.

Anyone in the Philippines can play, visitor or resident alike, as long as they buy a ticket at an outlet or through the official e-Lotto platform. The practical rule is simple: buy from authorized PCSO outlets only, keep your ticket safe, and check it against the official results.

Ultra Lotto 6/58: rules, prizes and record jackpots

Ultra Lotto 6/58 is the flagship of the PCSO lineup. You pick six numbers from 1 to 58, in any order, and if all six come up in the draw, you win the jackpot1. It has the highest minimum jackpot of any PCSO game: PHP 75 million, raised from PHP 50 million in February 20251.

Ultra Lotto 6/58: rules, prizes and record jackpots

The prize structure below the jackpot is also the richest of the five games. Match five of the six numbers and you land the second prize, shared among all the winners at that level. Match four and you share the third prize1. In practice, the amounts depend on how many people hit the same tier. In the December 29, 2023 draw, 40 players each matched five numbers and won Php 120,000 each, while 2,661 players with four correct digits took Php 2,000 each7. In other draws, bettors who get five numbers can win as much as P280,0007.

Because the odds of matching all six numbers out of 58 are so long, the jackpot frequently rolls over, and that is where the game gets exciting. In the December 29, 2023 draw, the Ultra Lotto 6/58 carried a total jackpot prize of exactly Php 571,554,916.40, with the winning combination 19-35-25-42-58-057. The PCSO has said it is pushing for a total jackpot prize of 1 billion pesos to generate interest in its e-Lotto platform1.

More recent wins show the range. On December 29, 2023, a lone bettor matched 19-35-25-42-58-05 and won PHP 571,554,916.407. Earlier that year, on June 30, a man in Nueva Ecija won over PHP 366 million7. Smaller rollovers settle closer to the minimum: one September 2025 draw paid P49,500,000 to a single winner with the combination 05-17-18-02-45-572.

The draws are held every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, in the evening, live on television and online9.

Grand Lotto 6/55: rules and minimum prize of PHP 45 million

Grand Lotto 6/55 sits just below Ultra Lotto in the PCSO hierarchy. You pick six numbers from 1 to 55, and the minimum jackpot is PHP 45 million, raised from PHP 30 million in February 20251. It is the second-highest initial jackpot among the major games, and the jackpot amount varies based on ticket sales1.

The consolation prizes are generous by the standards of most lotteries. Match five numbers and you share PHP 1.4 million; match four and you share PHP 1.3 million1. The game is played under a shared-prize consolation system, meaning these lower-tier prizes are divided among everyone at that level1.

Grand Lotto jackpots also roll over to impressive heights. In December 2023 the unwon Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot stood at PHP 557.9 million7. More typical draws sit at or near the minimum: the February 21, 2026 draw paid its P45 million jackpot to two ticket holders who shared the top prize with the combination 09-23-03-49-50-0111, and the March 9, 2026 draw was won by a single ticket holder matching 38-32-08-20-19-0912. By late April 2026, with no winner for a while, the jackpot had built to about PHP 62.29 million13.

Draws are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday13.

The other draw games: Lotto 6/42, Mega Lotto 6/45, Super Lotto 6/49 and the digit games

The three smaller six-number games work exactly the same way as the two above, just with smaller number pools and smaller minimum jackpots.

Lotto 6/42 is the original. You choose any set of six numbers from 1 to 42 and win if those numbers are drawn in any sequence on the draw date5. The minimum jackpot is PHP 10 million, raised from PHP 6 million in February 20251. Second prize is PHP 1.1 million shared, third prize PHP 1.0 million shared1. Draws are every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday15. A Lucky Pick option lets the machine generate your numbers for you1.

Mega Lotto 6/45 asks for six numbers from 1 to 451. The minimum jackpot is PHP 15 million, up from PHP 9 million since February 20251. Second prize is PHP 1.2 million shared, third prize PHP 1.1 million shared1. Draws are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday13. This game can roll over handsomely too: in November 2023, a lone bettor won P107,506,074.20 with the combination 13-31-16-01-25-10, just two days after another bettor in Palawan won P102,254,379.4016.

Super Lotto 6/49 uses six numbers from 1 to 49, with System Play available1. The minimum jackpot is PHP 25 million, up from PHP 16 million1. Second prize is PHP 1.3 million shared, third prize PHP 1.2 million shared1.

What a P25 ticket wins: prize tiers and shared jackpots

Every PCSO lotto ticket costs PHP 25 per combination, a price the PCSO set when it raised the long-standing PHP 20 rate in February 20251. That PHP 25 buys you one set of six numbers and entry into every prize tier at once.

Here is what each game's prize ladder looks like:

GameMatch 6 (jackpot, minimum)Match 5Match 4
Ultra Lotto 6/58PHP 75 millionPHP 1.5 million (shared)PHP 1.4 million (shared)
Grand Lotto 6/55PHP 45 millionPHP 1.4 million (shared)PHP 1.3 million (shared)
Super Lotto 6/49PHP 25 millionPHP 1.3 million (shared)PHP 1.2 million (shared)
Mega Lotto 6/45PHP 15 millionPHP 1.2 million (shared)PHP 1.1 million (shared)
Lotto 6/42PHP 10 millionPHP 1.1 million (shared)PHP 1.0 million (shared)

All figures are the PCSO's published minimums and shared amounts1.

Two things about these numbers matter in practice. First, the "shared" prizes are divided among everyone at that tier, so the more people who match five numbers in a given draw, the smaller each person's share. In the December 29, 2023 Ultra Lotto draw, 40 players matched five numbers and won PHP 120,000 each, while 2,661 players matched four numbers and won PHP 2,000 each8. Second, the jackpot itself is split if more than one ticket matches all six numbers, which reduces each winner's share17. The February 21, 2026 Grand Lotto draw is a good example: two ticket holders shared the P45 million top prize11.

The jackpot amount varies with ticket sales, and when nobody wins, it rolls over and grows1. That is the engine behind every big PCSO story: a PHP 25 ticket bought in an ordinary week can, after enough rollovers, be worth half a billion pesos.

Draw schedules for the major games

Each game draws three evenings a week, and the schedule is staggered so that there is a jackpot game almost every night:

How to play: choosing numbers, Lucky Pick and System Play

Playing is straightforward. Go to any authorized lotto outlet, ask for the game you want, and either mark six numbers on a betting slip or ask the teller to enter them for you. Pay PHP 25 per combination, take your printed ticket, and keep it somewhere safe. That ticket is your only proof of a win.

How to play: choosing numbers, Lucky Pick and System Play

You have three ways to pick your numbers:

  • Your own numbers. Pick six from the game's pool (1 to 58 for Ultra Lotto, 1 to 55 for Grand Lotto, and so on). The order does not matter; you win if all six are drawn in any sequence1.
  • Lucky Pick (LP). Let the machine automatically generate your number combination for you1. Many jackpot winners have used Lucky Pick, and it saves you the trouble of choosing.
  • System Play. Cover multiple number combinations on one ticket, which increases your chances of winning because you effectively hold more entries1. You pay PHP 25 per combination, so a System Play ticket with more combinations costs more8.

You can also buy tickets online. The PCSO e-Lotto is a web-based platform that lets bettors purchase tickets online, so you do not need to visit an outlet at all1. Whether you buy on paper or online, the game, the odds and the prizes are the same.

After the draw, check your ticket against the official results on the PCSO website, on lotto results sites, or on PCSO's Facebook and YouTube pages1. If you have won, claim promptly: small prizes are paid at outlets, while jackpot prizes are claimed at the PCSO head office. Prizes must be claimed within a set window after the draw, and unclaimed prizes revert to the PCSO's charity fund, so a winning ticket left in a drawer is a prize lost.

Recent results and jackpots that went unwon

The rhythm of the PCSO lotto is visible in any given month of results: most draws produce no jackpot winner, the prize rolls over and grows, and eventually one ticket takes the lot.

A few weeks from 2026 tell the story. On February 18, one ticket holder won the P15 million MegaLotto 6/45 jackpot with the combination 35-05-45-04-38-23, while the Grand Lotto 6/55's P45 million went unclaimed that same night18. Three days later, on February 21, the Grand Lotto's P45 million was finally won, split between two ticket holders, while the Lotto 6/42 jackpot of P20.49 million rolled over11. On March 9, a single ticket matched 38-32-08-20-19-09 to claim the Grand Lotto 6/55's P45 million, while the MegaLotto 6/45's P15 million again found no winner12. On March 21, one ticket won the Lotto 6/42's P10 million jackpot15. And by April 22, after a run of unwon draws, the Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot had built to about PHP 62.29 million and the MegaLotto 6/45 to about PHP 37.88 million, both still waiting13.

Ultra Lotto 6/58 shows the same pattern at a bigger scale. In May 2026, the P75 million jackpot was still up for grabs after no one matched 54-45-08-21-52-319. Earlier, in June 2025, the winning combination 2-18-28-19-41-26 went unmatched and the P94,914,130.40 prize rolled on10. By late September 2026, the official results showed the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot at PHP 330,176,341.88 with no winner, while the Mega Lotto 6/45 sat at PHP 75,233,668.75, also unwon19.

The lesson for a player is simple: check your ticket every time, even when the jackpot seems small. The P49.5 million Ultra Lotto prize of September 2025 went to a single bettor on an ordinary Sunday evening2, and the P571 million prize of December 2023 went to one person holding one PHP 25 ticket7. Someone wins eventually, and the PCSO publishes every result on its website the same night1.

Common Questions

How much does an Ultra Lotto 6/58 ticket cost?

A single bet costs PHP 25, the same as every other PCSO lotto game. If you play System Play or buy multiple combinations, you pay PHP 25 per combination, so a ticket with several entries costs more.

What are the odds of winning the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot?

You pick six numbers from 1 to 58, so the odds of matching all six in any order are very long, which is why the jackpot often rolls over for weeks and can climb past PHP 100 million or more before someone hits it.

What happens if no one wins the jackpot?

The prize rolls over to the next draw and keeps growing. That is how jackpots climb from the PHP 75 million minimum to hundreds of millions, and why draws with no winner are common in every PCSO game.

Can I play PCSO lotto online?

Yes. The PCSO operates e-Lotto, a web-based platform for buying lotto tickets online. You can also buy paper tickets at any authorized lotto outlet, and results are published on the PCSO website and its social media pages.

What is the biggest Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot ever won?

A famous example is the PHP 571,554,916.40 jackpot won by a lone bettor on December 29, 2023, with the combination 19-35-25-42-58-05. Rollovers have pushed Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpots close to the billion-peso mark.

How long do I have to claim a lotto prize?

Prizes must be claimed within a set window after the draw date, and unclaimed prizes go back to the PCSO's charity fund. Check your ticket soon after the draw and claim promptly at an outlet or the PCSO head office, depending on the amount.

What is the difference between Lucky Pick and System Play?

Lucky Pick lets the machine randomly generate your six numbers, while System Play covers multiple number combinations on one ticket, giving you more entries and more chances to win at PHP 25 per combination.
