Korea Sports Leisure Co., Ltd. will expand the first-half baseball product types offered on its Proto Seungbusik betting product from round 109, which goes on sale Monday 15 September 2025, the operator said in a notice published 12 September 20251.

Under the change, every KBO league game played on a weekday (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) will carry first-half baseball products: first-half win-draw-loss, first-half handicap and first-half under-over1. For MLB, one game per day among those played on weekdays (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) will be selected to carry the first-half win-draw-loss type1.

Settlement follows the existing baseball product rules. First-half products are settled in a single batch after the target game has finally ended, and if a game ends abnormally and the final result is not confirmed on the day it was played, the bet is void1. Under article 17, paragraph 2 of the Sports Promotion Voting Ticket terms, a game whose final result is not confirmed by 24:00 local time because of a natural disaster or other reason is void, except where the game is in progress or the venue is waiting to resume or confirm the result1.

The notice gives two worked examples. If a game is declared suspended because of rain in the top of the seventh inning, the first-half product is settled at odds of 1.0 regardless of the result through five innings. If a rain cold is declared after the top of the fifth inning is completed and the game counts as official, the first-half product is settled normally on that result1.

The operator said the first-half product types are run with overall consideration of sales weighting and the annual payout ratio, and that the types in use may therefore change1. It pointed readers to a separate first-half baseball product sales guide for further detail on settlement and payout1.

What it means for players

The change adds first-half markets to a wider set of games rather than creating a new product. For KBO followers, first-half win-draw-loss, handicap and under-over will be available on all Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday fixtures, not a selected subset. For MLB followers, the first-half win-draw-loss market will appear on one weekday game per day, so the number of MLB games carrying it is limited and the selection is made by the operator.

The settlement rules matter more than the market list. A first-half bet is not settled when the first half ends; it waits for the final result of the whole game. A suspended game that is not completed the same day voids the bet and returns it at 1.0, even if five full innings were played. A rain-shortened game that still counts as official is settled on the result. The operator has also said the product types on offer can change based on sales weighting and payout ratio, so the current lineup is not guaranteed to stay fixed.

What happens next

The expanded products take effect from round 109, on sale from Monday 15 September 20251. No end date or review date for the arrangement has been reported.
