What perya games are

A perya is a Filipino traveling fair: the kind that sets up for a town fiesta, with food stalls, rides and simple games of chance where you bet a few pesos on a dice roll or a coin flip. Perya games are those fairground staples, and the most famous of them, the Color Game, has been drawing crowds at fiestas for generations.

What has changed is where you find them. The same games now run as live online games, streamed from studios with real dealers and hosts, and they have become some of the most popular gambling products in the country. Titles such as Color Game, Pula Puti and Pusoy recreate the fun of community fairs while keeping the simple rules that made them popular in the first place5. Games that attract a crowd of onlookers, such as Color Games, Pusoy, Lucky 9 and Tongits, have been among the most-played Filipino games online6.

The BingoPlus app, for example, has a dedicated Perya category featuring carnival-inspired titles including Color Game, Pula Puti and Pinoy Drop Ball7. The operator behind it, DigiPlus, launched a platform called Perya Game in December 2023 as a local leisure and entertainment platform with a nod to traditional Filipino fairs6. Casino Plus runs its own live Color Game, complete with dynamic audio, an animated live dealer and a vibrant color palette themed on the perya carnival8.

So when Filipinos talk about playing perya games today, they usually mean opening an app, watching a live stream and betting real pesos on the same games their grandparents played at the fair. If you want the wider picture of gambling in the country, see our guide to gambling in the Philippines.

Color Game: rules and how a round works

Color Game is a dice game, but the dice have no numbers. It typically uses three dice, each displaying colors instead of numbers, and before the dice are rolled, players choose one or more colors they believe will appear7.

Color Game: rules and how a round works

A round works like this:

  1. A betting window opens, with a countdown shown on screen.
  2. You place your chips on the colors or combinations you want.
  3. The countdown ends and the interface signals "No More Bets"9.
  4. The dealer rolls the three colored dice.
  5. The result is displayed on screen, with winning-color feedback that helps you interpret the completed result9.

The three colored dice determine the result, and the outcome is shown clearly on screen so you can see at a glance which of your bets won9. One thing worth internalizing early: each dice roll is independent of previous outcomes9. The board may show that white has come up five times in a row, but that history has no effect on the next roll. Believing otherwise is the most common way new players talk themselves into bad bets.

The live version at Casino Plus is a genuine live game with an animated dealer, not a computer animation of dice. It sits in the operator's lineup alongside live Baccarat, Dragon Tiger and Pula Puti9. The game is registered with PAGCOR as an eCasino table game, and a variant called Color Game Extreme is registered separately10, which tells you these are regulated products, not informal apps.

Color Game bet types and the eight betting areas

The official Color Game rules document eight betting areas: the six Single Color choices plus Any Double and Any Triple9.

The six Single Color choices are:

  • Red
  • Blue
  • Green
  • Yellow
  • White
  • Pink9

A Single Color bet wins when at least one of the three dice shows your color. Any Double wins when any two of the three dice show the same color, and Any Triple wins when all three dice show the same color9.

The stakes are flexible. The live Color Game format accepts wagers from ₱10 up to ₱100,000, and the smallest fixed chip is ₱101. That range means you can play casually with the price of a jeepney ride, or bet seriously if that is what you are there for.

The game also has clear signals for when betting closes: a betting countdown and a "No More Bets" notice mark the end of the interaction phase, so you know exactly when your chips are locked in8. The eight betting areas stay the same from round to round, which makes the game easy to follow once you have placed a few bets.

Pula Puti: the checkerboard and how it plays

Pula Puti means "red white" in Filipino, and that is the whole game in two words: players guess whether the final result will be red or white7. It is also known as the Blackpink Game on some platforms, where players bet on the outcome of colors, either black, pink, or a special symbol.

The centerpiece is the checkerboard. The Pula Puti checkerboard has 144 squares in total: 71 red squares, 71 white squares, and 2 special symbol squares featuring the IGO logo2.

A round runs like this:

  1. A 20-second betting countdown starts, and you place your bets. No more bets are accepted once the countdown ends2.
  2. The live dealer releases three balls into a funnel.
  3. The balls pass through the funnel and land on the checkerboard2.
  4. Where the balls settle determines which bets win.

A few practical rules are worth knowing before your first round:

  • If a ball gets stuck after landing, the dealer repositions that ball and releases it again, so every round ends with all three balls settled2.
  • If you exit the game after placing your bets, the round still plays out and your payout is based on the final result2.
  • You can bet on either Any Two Red or Any Two White, but not both. Other combinations can be placed at the same time2.

The minimum bet is ₱5 at Casino Plus2, which makes Pula Puti one of the cheapest live games you will find anywhere in the country.

Pula Puti payouts: from 1:1 to 150:1

Pula Puti's payout table is wide, because the three balls can land in many different patterns. Here is what the operator lists2:

Pula Puti payouts: from 1:1 to 150:1
BetPayout
Double Red / Double White1:1
Triple Red / Triple White7:1
Red + White + Special Symbol40:1
Any Special Symbol15:1 to 150:1

The Any Special Symbol payout varies because hitting one of the two IGO logo squares triggers the bonus spinning wheel. The wheel's prizes are multipliers: 15X, 20X, 30X, 60X and 150X2. If the wheel pointer gets stuck or lands between two positions, the wheel is re-spun2.

The top of the table is where the big numbers live. The operator showcases a Pula Puti 150x win worth ₱377,500 as an example of what the game pays at its peak2. The spinning wheel is what drives those peaks, with pointer stops at 15X, 20X, 30X, 60X and 150X, so the multiplier you land on decides how large the payout scales.

The game's return to player rate is listed at 84.82% to 97.90%2. The wide range exists because the bet types pay so differently: the even-money Double bets behave like a coin flip with a modest edge, while the special symbol bets are long shots with large swings.

Pinoy Drop Ball: how the game works

Pinoy Drop Ball is the newest of the three, launched by BingoPlus at a star-studded event at the Grand Hyatt Manila on Sunday, September 29, 20243. It is the first-ever live-streamed drop ball game in the Philippines3.

The mechanics will feel familiar if you have ever seen a pachinko or a Plinko board. A ball is released from the top of a pegged board and travels through multiple obstacles before landing in one of several prize slots7. You are betting on where the ball ends up.

What makes it different from a pure machine game is the human element. The game is streamed live 23/7, so players are right there in the moment as each drop happens3. BingoPlus switches hosts every 30 minutes, in consideration of the various ways different hosts may throw the balls3. That rotation is not just showmanship: because a human hand releases each ball, the drops genuinely vary from host to host.

There are six betting areas, and the game follows a set of payout rules for them3. It joins DigiPlus' lineup of digital games alongside Bingo, Tongits and the other Perya Games3.

Pinoy Drop Ball payouts and the Pachinko bonus round

The base payouts in Pinoy Drop Ball depend on how many balls land on a card3:

Pinoy Drop Ball payouts and the Pachinko bonus round
CardsPayout
Card with a single ball2x
Card with two balls3x
Card with three ballsTriggers the Pachinko bonus round

The Pachinko bonus round is the headline feature. If three balls land on a card, the game enters a special Pachinko round where players get a shot at bigger rewards. The round uses 15 slots filled with multipliers of 10, 50, 100, and even up to 2003.

How often do you get to see it? Triple cards can occur up to an estimated 40 or more times in a day3. With the game streamed live 23/7, there are plenty of chances to catch a Pachinko round, though of course they cluster and gap unpredictably like any random event.

For a ₱5-style bettor, the structure is appealing: the base 2x and 3x payouts keep small stakes ticking over, and the Pachinko round offers the kind of 200x ceiling that Color Game and Pula Puti only reach through their jackpots and top multipliers.

The short version: online gambling in the Philippines is legal only on platforms licensed by PAGCOR4. For online play, that means players in the Philippines can only legally join sites operated by PAGCOR11, so stick to platforms that display official PAGCOR licensing7. Not every legal game sits inside PAGCOR's remit, though: PCSO lotto and horse racing operate under their own regulators, and traditional games like bingo are permitted as parlor games12.

A few specific rules apply to particular groups:

  • Employees holding a Gaming Employment License are prohibited from playing in any gaming establishment in the Philippines13.
  • Remote Play Poker is prohibited for Filipino citizens wherever located, and for foreign nationals while within the Philippines14.
  • Traditional games like bingo are allowed when played merely as parlor games or for home entertainment, not in places habitually used for gambling12.

The practical risk of playing on an unlicensed perya app is simple: your money sits with an operator no regulator will help you with, and participating in illegal gambling carries consequences under Philippine law. Licensed platforms like those running Color Game, Pula Puti and Pinoy Drop Ball sit inside the regulated system, which is where the games above are played. Common Questions

What is the jackpot on the Color Game?

The live Color Game runs a progressive jackpot alongside the regular dice payouts. Figures quoted by the operator have passed ₱184 million, but the amount changes constantly, so check the counter in the game lobby for the current number.

What is the minimum bet for Pula Puti?

Pula Puti at Casino Plus takes bets from ₱5, which makes it one of the cheapest live games in the Philippines. The live Color Game, by comparison, uses a smallest fixed chip of ₱10.

What happens if a Pula Puti ball gets stuck?

The dealer repositions the stuck ball and releases it again, so the round always finishes with all three balls settled on the checkerboard. If the bonus wheel pointer sticks or lands between two positions, the wheel is simply re-spun.

Can I leave a Pula Puti round after placing my bets?

Yes, but your money stays in the game. Even if you exit Pula Puti after placing your bets, the round still plays out and any payout is based on the final result, credited to your account.

How often do triple cards come up in Pinoy Drop Ball?

Triple cards, which trigger the Pachinko bonus round, can occur up to an estimated 40 or more times in a day. The game goes offline for only one hour each day, so there are plenty of chances to catch one.

Who hosts Pinoy Drop Ball and how often do hosts change?

BingoPlus hosts the game with live hosts who switch every 30 minutes. The rotation exists because each host throws the balls differently, which keeps the drops varied.

What is the RTP of Pula Puti?

The operator lists a return to player rate of 84.82% to 97.90%. The range exists because different bet types and bonus outcomes pay at very different rates.
