Okada Manila has announced that its free shuttle service departing from SM North EDSA will be discontinued from Sunday, 26 April 2026. The notice appears on the operator's own "Getting Here" page, which carries the update in several languages, including Korean, Vietnamese, Thai and Simplified Chinese1.

The announcement is short and gives no reason for the change. The Korean page states:

"SM North EDSA 에서 출발하는 무료 셔틀 서비스는 2026년 4월 26일(일요일) 부터 중단될 예정임을 알려드립니다"
Okada Manila, Getting Here page1

The Vietnamese and Chinese versions carry the same date and the same wording, naming Sunday, 26 April 2026 as the last day of the service2. No replacement service from SM North EDSA is mentioned in the notice, and no reason for the closure has been reported.

Okada Manila's other free shuttle routes are still listed on the same page, each with its own timetable. These include Araneta City, SM Aura, SM BF Parañaque, Binondo, Summit Point in Batangas, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Imus, Robinsons Dasmariñas and Robinsons Novaliches1. The Summit Point route runs on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and requires guests to register at least two days before their preferred trip1.

The resort also runs a paid transport service, which the page says is available only to Okada Manila guests and can be booked at the hotel concierge or the transport valet counter2. Airport transfers between Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and the resort cost 3,400 PHP one way in a Toyota GL Grandia, or 12,500 PHP to Clark International Airport; the average trip between NAIA and Okada Manila is given as about 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic1. Point to point rates inside Metro Manila start at 2,000 PHP for Pasay and rise to 7,500 PHP for Caloocan1.

Rates are one way and include 12 percent value added tax, a 10 percent service charge, 0.75 percent local tax, fuel, tolls, parking and RFID payment costs1. Cancellations made less than three hours before the scheduled departure carry a 50 percent fee, and no shows are charged the full trip2.

What it means for players

For anyone who used the SM North EDSA pickup to reach the casino floor at Okada Manila, that free option ends on 26 April 2026. The remaining free shuttles listed by the resort serve other pickup points, so players traveling from the SM North EDSA area would need to arrange their own transport or use one of the other routes. The paid point to point service is limited to hotel guests, so day visitors who are not staying overnight are not covered by it. Grab and taxi fares from Okada Manila's Pearl Lobby to NAIA terminals are listed at roughly 200 to 300 PHP depending on the terminal, with the page noting these are guides only and final fares vary by app or taxi service1. General entry rules and transport options across the region are set out in the casino shuttle bus guide and the Philippines gambling guide.

What happens next

The free SM North EDSA shuttle stops from Sunday, 26 April 20261. No further changes to the other shuttle routes or to the paid transport rates have been announced on the page.
